I earned a BFA from a multidisciplinary program. My own practice focuses on traditional painting and some creative coding/digital art.

I've experimented with many styles, but have tended towards certain themes and approaches that have become signature to my process.

Artist Statement

I embrace a loose and fluid approach to painting, infusing my work with vibrant colors and evocative storytelling. Inspired by my experiences in the American West, particularly Colorado, I gravitate towards themes involving cowboys and witches, weaving elements of mythology and folklore into my compositions.

Recently, I've been experimenting with larger pieces that allow me to immerse viewers in the rich mythology of the American frontier. Drawing from my time spent outdoors painting en plein air, I aim to capture the essence and spirit of the rugged landscapes. My passion for storytelling and fondness for mythology are evident in my portrayals of cowboys and western landscapes, which offer viewers a glimpse into a place where reality and legend intertwine.
